What are you waiting for?

I dont have anything to update you with yet, except that if you have any doubts about wether or not you want to go or not give JR a call he wiil tell you about the last few trips to Alaska. The second time we went we rented a Gov. cabin on shuyak island (Kodiak island) for25$ per day and it was too cool. The salmon were so thick that the water was red. we took a floatplane over from Homer and had sea kyaks already waiting for us. On the day when we didn' want to fish we paddled around the island. Even though there were signs of the kodiak bear we never saw any of them.

What are you waiting for?

Jan 21 2009 first fish club payment due

Welcome to the Fish Club info page.
The deal is this, everybody who wants to go on the next Alaska fishing trip needs to start sending in their 50.00 to either me or to JR. We expect to be going to either the pan handle of Alaska or somewhere else (we havent decided where yet) but we want as many of you to go. That is why we are having everybody pay 50.00 each month so that when you go it;s already paid for and the only thing you have to worry about is getting the time off, since it is going to be during the summer when we go on the next family reunion. The only rules are:

1. You have to start this month. That is so when we start planning the trip we know how many people we need to find space for and there are as few last minute changes as possible.

2. If you miss three payments in a row you forfiet your money. This is so that once in you are comitted and the farther we go along the more comitted you become (because it starts getting progressivly more expensive to bail out).

3. I f you are going to fund Fish Club for your kids they need to be at least 12 yrs. old, can carry 100 pounds of my fishing gear and can cook, clean the cabin and gut a fish in less than 30 seconds.
